Jenna Santos grew up in the Wheatbelt of WA, riding motorbikes, building cubbies and writing from the dam bank on the family farm.
An expert in marketing for the rural and agribusiness sectors, Jenna has been immersed in agriculture her entire life, building skills throughout many years of working in rural media, marketing and events.
Jenna started her career as an Agricultural Journalist before managing the largest agricultural expo in WA for nearly 9 years. Leading a team of staff and over 300 volunteers, Jenna helped grow the event by over 50% in both visitor and exhibitor numbers throughout her appointment. Following her passion for rural marketing and content writing, Jenna started Windmill Events & Promotions in 2017, with a mission to provide support for innovative rural businesses.
Jenna has spent a lifetime building her writing skills having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a Cadetship in Journalism through Rural Press. She is currently undertaking various courses, including a Diploma of Social Media Marketing, to further build her skills and put them to work for rural and agribusiness across WA.
I started Windmill Events & Promotions because I believe rural people are resourceful, driven, passionate, genuine and proactive. And they should have access to the quality rural business support services.
I have worked with Jenna Santos over the last five years as a result of her role at Dowerin Machinery Field Days. Jenna has always been calm under pressure, full of new ideas and extremely pleasant to work with. Furthermore, she has an in-depth understanding of business and day to day life in rural WA. I believe that Jenna’s extensive knowledge of what it takes to run events, both large and small, in addition to her highly proactive and creative approach place her in the highest bracket of professional event organisers in Perth. I cannot recommend Jenna highly enough and would be happy to talk to anyone who is considering using Jenna and Windmill Events for their functions and promotional needs.
I would highly recommend Windmill Events. I have had the pleasure to work with Jenna in various professional capacities throughout our time in various media roles over more than a decade including her time as the Event Co-ordinator at the Dowerin Field Days. At all times it has been an excellent experience , with work completed on time, creatively and with passion. Jenna is very client focused and I believe that any event or campaign that Windmill Events commits to working with, will be a great success.
Having worked alongside Jenna at the Dowerin Field Days I can personally attest to the fact that she is an incredibly meticulous and hard worker, once she sets her mind to something there is nothing she cannot overcome. I would consider Jenna’s organisational traits and creativity her main attributes, both of which assist her across many aspects of her role, whether it be making a tight budget or timeline work, designing an event aesthetic or client liaison, but she particularly excels when it comes to problem-solving. It should also be noted that she does all this while possessing a most pleasant personality. She not only lights up a room when she enters, she creates an energy and a buzz that makes good things happen. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
